Installation Procedures for Siglite Glass Road Studs Serious

  1. Road safety Devices.
  2. Use drill stop on the drilling bit to drill hole (Diameter: 100mm, Depth: 25mm)
  3. Use hammer and chisel to remove the asphalt or concrete debris in the hole.
  4. Use high pressure air blower to blow away the sand and water in the holes. Or use sponge to absorb the water
  5. Use depth gauge to test the proper depth of holes. Modification may required to if too deep or too shallow.
  6. Use epoxy or asphalt adhesive to fasten reflector. Asphalt adhesive is suggested for installation on freeways or high traffic areas or for larger road projects, because it is cost and time effective. Epoxy is suggested for minor or trivial road works.
  7. Place Siglite road stud in the hole and turn about 30 degrees. Use a rubber hammer to secure the position by gently pounding the glass dome.

Installation Procedures For A-68 Solar Road Studs

  1. Drill a hole of 42mm depth in the pavement with the 112mm drilling bit.(Use the drill stopper to assure the correct depth of the hole).
  2. Use special socket tool to remove the excessive gravels of asphalt from the hole. For concrete pavement, use jackhammer to crush the excessive concrete in the hole for easy removal.
  3. Use high pressure air blower to blow away the unwanted debris and water. Use sponge to remove excessive water if necessary.
  4. Use the dummy Solar Siglite to check if the depth is acceptable for installation.
  5. Apply proper amount of epoxy glue to the hole.
  6. Adjust the direction of Solar Siglite and place it in the hole.
  7. Lightly pound the glass top to secure its position with a plastic hammer.
  8. Apply some epoxy glue around the rim of Solar Siglite to retain the Solar Siglite in its hole.

  1. Drill a hole of 30mm depth in the pavement with the 4”drilling bit.(Use the drill stopper to assure the correct depth of the hole).
  2. Use special socket tool to remove the excessive gravels of asphalt from the hole. For concrete pavement, use jackhammer to crush the excessive concrete in the hole for easy removal.
  3. Use high pressure air blower to blow away the unwanted debris and water. Use sponge to remove excessive water if necessary.

Installation Procedures for All-position Tempered Glass Kerb Stud

  1. Made adequate facility of safety warning.
  2. Mark on the position to be worked.
  3. Drill a hole at diameter of 52mm and depth of 42 mm with drilling machine (mark on the drilling machine or put a ring at the drilling bit to ensure certain depth at the hole drilled).
  4. Use bush tool or electrical hammer to take off the asphalt or cement within the hole.
  5. Clean sand and water within the hole away with high pressure air (or dry out the water with sponge).
  6. Use mold with fixed height to test if the depth of hole is suitable or not (else modification is needed).
  7. Place the waning light into the hole, put rubber or wooden hammer on top of the waning light and then use another hammer to lightly hammer the rubber of warning light into the hole for completion. Since there is no need to use adhesives, it is convenient and fast for commencement of traffic flow.
