A motorcyclist crashed because of running over an “aluminum road stud”and was suspected playing the game Pokemon Go!

According to the reports of Apple Daily and CTITV news on August 7th, 2016, a motorcyclist was suspected playing the game “Pokemon Go” while riding on the road, and he crashed because of running over an “aluminum road stud” in the center of the road. (A passerby mistranslated as “cats eye” on Facebook.)



Refer to the aluminum road stud, the height of the protruding part is about 7.5cm. (According to traffic regulation, the height of road stud cannot over 2.5cm on the general highway; and 1.9cm on the freeway and expressway). The main function of the stud is to separate the road. However, the height is too high to cause many casualties for motorcyclists. Hereby the exemplified cases as below:
