Relationship between Liechtenstein and Siglite Road Markers
2011/11/23
Liechtenstein is a small landlocked country in central Europe with 160 squere kilometer located close to Switzerland. The country is known worldwide for its banking commerce and postage stamps.
The name “Liechtenstein” consists of two words: light and stone. No wonder there are a lot of light stones called Siglite lighting the way. Roundabouts, traffic islands and protection of bus stops, almost everywhere are installed with Siglite - lighting like diamonds in Liechtenstein.
Liechtenstein is one of the highest industrialised countries with a national gross income (GNI) of 50’000 USD per capita. With the high living standard and environmental awareness of the government, attention for road safety is paramount. Recent traffic safety measures have resulted in the installation of thousands of 360 degree Siglite reflectors designed for the improvement of driving conditions at night. Temperatures up to +40 in summer falling to - 15 Centigrade in winter, as well as plenty of rain do not affect the reflective performance of these Siglite road studs. After 5 years in service, the fully tempered glass from which the Siglite is made, ensures the high reflectivity continues to “light the way ahead “ working every night without maintenance.
Siglite Road markers has a high appreciation and acceptance in the country “light stone”.
